JUNIOR.

Foxton 15, Levin Wanderers 0 Shannon 3, Ilui Mai 0. Otaki 10, Koputaroa 0. THIRD GRADE. Foxton 24, Training Farm 3.

FOXTON v. LEVIN WANDERERS,

The above match Avas played on the local ground, a feature of same being the hue display given by the Foxton backs, who handled the wet ball particularly well. The result of the game was never indoubt after the first few minutes, the Foxton players being superior in all departments of the game. In the first spell three tries were scored, and two in the second half, none being converted. During the game one of the Levin players was ordered off the field for rough play, Mr W. Neville refereed.

The third grade match resulted in a, ruu-away victory for the home team, which scored eight tries, to their opponents’ one, none being converted.

The Horowhenua Union is ar-* ranging a little tour for its rep. learn this season, which will include matches with the Taihape, Dahnevirke and Bush (Pahiatua) Unions. Mr J. W. Procter, chairman of the management committee of the local Union, was in Wellington last week, and arranged dates for visits of the Wellington junior and senior reps, to Levin. The junior rep. game with Horowhenua will be played on August 7th, and the seniors on August 21st.
