The Wellington School Commitfees Association have adopted the following remits, to be .submitted to the Federated School Committees Conference, to be held next month. —(1) That the Education Board be requested to provide a swimming instructor’ for school children when they are sent to the baths; (2) that the' Education Boards be abolished and the entire control of the Education Department be vested in three commissioners, one education, one commercial, and one organiser, (3) that all school grounds be fitted with appliances to encourage physical exercise.
