ROYAL PICTURES.
In “The Hand Invisible," the star item at the Royal 10-night, Rodney Graham is known as the Napoleon of the steel industry. He is a dominating forceful man, and craves nothing so much in life as an heir. He loves his wife. Alice, but she meets with an accident which renders it impossible for her to bear him a son. Rodney, reading of the manner in which Napoleon divorced Josephine, determines to follow suit, and leaves Alice. After the divorce is obtained he weds a debutante named Katherine Dale. A child is born to Katherine, ami Rodney Graham worships it, but Katherine dies .shortly afterwards. Years pass, and Hie son grows up and wins athletic honours at college. Li due time he falls in love with a daughter of Rodney's stepbrother. Rodney opposes the match, but finally consents at the request of Ids first wife, Alice. K develops later, in a dramatic way, that Rodney’s supposed son is not really his. Rodney tries to change his will, but becomes pant lysed while attempting this, and is. forced to watch the unwelcome wedding from a wheel chair.
On Wednesday. Miss (tail Kane, one of America's leading stage stars, will he featured in “Her Great Mateh," a love story of a prince and a society maid. Miss Gad Kano who is now appearing with great success on Broadway, is one of the few actresses who has not entirely given up the stage for the screen. She has, however, made many appearances in the silent drama, and always succeeds by the force of her personality and undoubted ability. She was chosen by Metro as the leading woman in their striking dramatic ottering. “Her Great Mateh, and without question she scores a decided hit. She is a woman with a woman’s heart and emotions, not a mere puppet going through certain “stunts." “A Man of Might" is the greatest serial the Royal has yet shown, surpassing even “The .Fighting Trail."
