At a nice tin”' mostly attended 1> y women, hold in 1 lie Trades Hall last night, the following' motion was carried: “Thai this meeting of Christelnireh citizens is of opinion that women should receive equal pay for equal work, and in the ease of the cost of living bonus being arranged for should receive it-in full.” The meeting also asks that the next session of Parliament shall legislate in the direction of a higher wage for Xcw Zealand women. A motion was also carried demanding the appointment of a woman representative on the Arbitration Court.
