FOXTON RIFLE CLUB.
A meeting of (he Eoxton Rifle Club Committee was held last night. It. was decided, that in future the handicapping, when averaging on the last three shoots, a rifleman shooting three points below his usual average score, this score should not be taken into account, and that ids usual handicap be adhered to for the next shoot. It was decided that a letter of thanks he sent to Mr 11. Pranklaml for Ids faithful work in connect ion with the Club, and the time he has devoted to its welfare. The next compel it ion will he for a trophy presented by Messrs M.auson and Barr. hid.. Ist prize, 100 rounds of ammunition second prize, presented by Mr D. Knewstnb, and 5s third prize, donated by Mr C. Rand; three shoots to be held, and owing to the shorter days 10 shots and a. sigh ter at one range only be tired. The shoots will commence at 2 p.m.
