ALL OPPOSITION SWEPT ASIDE. :■ Washington, June S. The Supreme Court to-day .swept aside every contention raised against the constitutionality of the "Volstead Prohibition Enforcement Act and the validity of the national prohibition amendment to the Federal Constitution. . The Supreme Court dismissed a petition by Rhode Island seeking to have the Federal officials enjoined from- enforcing Prohibition in that State. The Court also dismissed an application for an injunction brought by Ngav Jersey to prevent the enforcement of Prohibition Avithin that State. This decision also involved appeals from Massachussets, Kentucky, Wisconsin and Missouri.
