JOHNNIE’S SIXTH SENSE.
FORES AW ACCIDENT TO PARENTS.
Melbourne, May 8. Johnnie Birrcll, aged 19. a patient at the Children’s Hospital, was last week most persistent in his request to go home. When asked his reason, he said'that he wanted’to be home when they brought his mother and father home, as he explained (hey were going to be knocked down by a motor ear.
The lad’s father was told of his son’s fear when he visited the hospital, and he at once assured his son he was well able to look atfer himself and mother, too.
On Tuesday a doctor called at the hospital, and stated that-a friend had had the misfortune to knock Air and Mrs Birrcll down with a motor’ear that afternoon..
