The first half of the match was very evenly contested, although Shannon had somewhat the best, of the play, and the score at half time was; three —nil in favour of the home team. CLASSIFICATION OF FLAYERS. At a special meeting of the Horowhemia Rugby Union held at Levin last night, the question of the classification of players was considered. After discussion it was decided that the following junior players be classified as seniors;— Foxton: .Moses, H. Taylor, Baker, Ah Robinson and Thompson. Shannon : L. Bucknum, Salherley, Turau, Mira and Olliver. Waikanae: C. Porter.
