HOCKEY.
A hockey club has been formed locally, and a team entered for (he Tlorowlienua' Hockey Association’s competition, which commences on Wednesday next. Eight teams are taking pari, and two rounds are to be played. The followiny are the matches set down for next Wednes-
day : •Olaki A v. Iv.S.A., at Uc.viu. Olaki I! v. Y.M.C.A., at Olaki. Excelsior v. Foxtou, ul Foxtou. Shannon v. To Horo, at Shannon. The followiny team will represent Foxtou against Excelsior: Coal, O’Brien; hacks, Graham and Bowe; halves, Ball, Taylor and Walls: forwards, Reid, Bryant, Me Murray, Baker, ami MeGreyor. Emcryencies; Taylor, Bowator, Briyhl.
