BOROUGH FINANCES.
The Borough Treasurer reported at Monday night’s Council meeting as follows: —
The sum of £483 17s lid was received during the month of April, 1920, and was placed to the credit of accounts as under:-—District Fund account £472 15s sd, cemetery account £ll 2s 6d, The balances of the various accounts at the Bank of New Zealand on the 20th day of April, 1920, were as follows: —Cemetery £72 4s 4d, hospital and charitable aid £l7 4s Bd, reserves £BS 4s 4d, sanitation £SB 18s 9d, town hall £5 14s fid, interest £49 6s lOd, all Sn credit, a total of £263 13s sd. The accounts at debit wore; Imprest cash £lO, gas works £l7l Os sd, general £368 16s sd, and library £l7 12s 3d, total £567 9s Id. SUMMARY.
