HEAVY LOSS BY FIRE.

Feilding, Yesterday. A very large brick stable and storeroom at Parorangi, near Feilding, at the residence of Mr Ernest Short, were totally destroyed by lire last night. Five horses in the stables were rescued, but all the stocks of hay, grass seed, etc., in addition to a large engine amj dynamo, were destroyed. The total damage is something like £15,000, and the total insurance about £3,000.
