LAND SALE.
HIGH PRICES AT KA IRA NO A. An important sale of 315 acres of Kairanga land was made by Messrs Abraham and Williams, Palmerston North, on'Tuesday.. The land, formerly owned and successfully worked by Mr John Bailsillie, and purchased by Mr Ancell Gray about seven months ago at £9B per acre, was subdivided into six farms. Having for many years been devoted to sheep and bullocks, the land is fresh and healthy for systematic and highly remunerative dairying. The sale of the six lots averaged £l3O 14s per agre, two lots being bought for £144 per acre, one for £134 per acre, two for £124 per acre, and one for £l2O per acre. The only outside buyer was Mr R. J. Bricknall, of Hawkes Bay.
