RIFLE SHOOTING.
Last Saturday, under fairly good weather conditions, a competition for a sweepstake was held, at ranges of 200 and 300 yards. The sum of 20s was contributed, the prizes being 12s, (is, and 2s. \V. Symons, winner of a previous sweep, won the 12s, mailing (lie exceptional score of 34 at 300 yards. Second prize wont to A. Barnard, and third prize to S. Head. The “thirties” were well patronised, scores being as follows: Yds. Yds.
