THE newly^lected-School Committee is faced with a strenuous year’s work. A policy in connection with improvements to (he school grounds and approaches will have to he laid down, and as far as possible given effect to. The question of a septic lank to replace the present pan system must be urged upon the Department. Then there are many matters in connection with the new building which will require attention. Apart from this, there are several important matters’“cbiieernhig the health of the children, and administration of schools generally, to winch the Committee will be called upon to support: on the lines of the resolution carried at the householders’ ■meeting. It is to He hoped that the Committee will'have one object in view; to advance the cause of Education generally.
