TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS TO PALMERSTON N. Mr Drew, the Manawatu County Clerk, conferred with Air Hornblow re agitating for I lie Foxton Monday morning train lo bo delayed lo leave Foxton at 9 a.m., in order that the Sanson (rain could link up at Tliinatangi and enable the country children to participate in Ihe proceedings. Owing to the absence of Mr Ed. Newman, M.P. for the constiluency. Mr Hornblow placed the mailer before Mr L A. Nash, M.P., and owing to that gentleman's representations, a special train has been arranged to leave Foxton at 9 a.m. on the day in question. The subject was mentioned at last ifight’s meeting of householders, and a unanimous vole of thanks was accorded to Mr J. A. Nash, ALP.
