VISCOUNT JELLICOE APPOINTED. FAMOUS ADMIRAL TO SUCCEED EARL OF LIVERPOOL. ft was officially stated in Wellington last night that His Excellency the Governor-General had been asked to announce that His Majesty the King had been graciously pleased to appoint Admiral of (he Fleet Viscount Jcllic-oe, of 'Scapa, G.C.8., 0.M., G.C.V.0., to succeed the Earl of Liverpool as Governor-General and Commandev-in-Chief of the Dominion of New Zealand.
