Regulations fixing the maximum prices for Hour, bran, and pollard v.'oro published in Thursday night's Claret te. The price of bran is to he £7 per ton f.o.h. at Lyttelton, liumru, or Oamani, and in the case of other ports of despatch, this amount, with ;he addition of the amount of carriage to that port from Lyttelton, Timavu, or Oamani, whichever is least. The price of pollard is to he £!) per ton, with the same conditions. In every ease provision is made for a rebate of 21 per cent, for payment Within seven days of delivery.

Provision is made for allowing a profit to merchants selling bran and pollard in small quantities. If the sale is of a quantity of half a, ton or more the price may he 10s per ton in the case of bran, and 15s pci ton in the ease of pollard, above the scheduled prices already given. In sales of quantities of less than half a ton, tin excess above the scheduled price of 12s (id per ton for bran, and 17s fid for pollard is to be allowed.

These prices are all maximum prices. It will be quite lawful for any seller ro sell at less than these prices. but not to exceed them. A clause at the end of the regulations i„ evidently intended to meet special eases.
