WATER AND DRAINAGE.

SCHEME TO BE REVISED. At last night's meeting of ihe Borough Council (lit; Mayor said that it was now some years since the last poll on a water and drainage scheme was submitted to the ratepayers, and there appeared to be a feeling in the community that the ratepayers should be given another opportunity of voting on these proposals. He suggested that Mr Cliuiie, who had previously submitted a scheme for the Borough, should be asked to visit Foxton as early as possible and go into the question, with, the Council. This was agreed to.
