On Saturday afternoon a rink from Terrace End visited Foxton and played a friendly match with a local rink. The visitors won by a margin of eight points. The teams and: scores were as follows; — Hold D. Whibley Tremewan Woods Wallace F. Whibley Davidson (s) 23 Nyo (s) 35

The Alanawatu Centre’s annual Easter Tournament will be commenced to-morrow. Seventy rinks, from clubs from all parts of the North Island, have entered, and the following greens will lie used : Palmerston two, Terraco End, Manawatu, and Feilding, one each. A very interesting game for the Nye Ferns was played yesterday afternoon. Right up I" the. nineteenth head the .-'Coring was particularly close, and with two heads jo play the board read lo all.
