PROFITEERING.
PROSECUTIONS PROBABLE. • Auckland, March 22. The tribunal appointed hy the Board of Trade to investigate cases of profiteering in Auckland has commenced duly. At to-day’s silling a number of complaints wore received, and as several of ihe charges boar a serious aspect, investigation will probably be followed by prosecutions. Several of the complaints are in respect to staple articles of food and clothing, and these will be given special attention.
