DISTRESSING ACCIDENT TO A LITTLE GIRL.
Christehnrch, Yesi erday. A distressing occurrence took place al Green Park on Saturday on the (rain on which a school picul'party was reluming to Christchurch, a little girl named Mary Wright having her right arm Irac(ured above the wrist, and her left arm broken above the elbow. Ihe (rain was slationary at Green Park for a short while, and on the next set of rails were several entile trucks. The girl's arms were dangling from a carriage window, and as the (rain moved they struck an open door of a cattle truck. The guard applied first aid, and on arrival at Christchurch (ho sullcrer was removed to the hospital.
