MaluTTalia ferro is ihe featured member of the east in “A Wife by Proxy/’ an . excellent Jive-part drama, to he screened al the Koval to-night. But every elm racier is splendidly portrayed by a distinguished easlj which includes Robert Walker and Sally Crate. In the role of Jerry MeNairn, Miss Tallin ferro does exceptional work, especially in the dramatic scenes in the early part of Ihe picture, although her comedy work later on is also very tine, and shows- the star's clever versatility. The picture will please most patrons, for the story is. a strong one, and rather unusual in treatment as well as plot. It certainly holds the interest to the end, and the production is on the usual complete scale set by Metros. As an extra, a further episode of “The Lightning Raiders” will be shown. In “Just for To-night,” to he screened on Friday night, Tom Moore makes the most of his opportunities in a romantic drama with plenty of comedy touches besprinkled throughout. The story was written specially for the star by Chas. Logue, and contains a lot of smart, novel incidents, and is considerably brightened by the smart, pithy subtitles used. As may he expected, it is exactly suitable to the debonair manner of the good-natured Irishman, and not a little of its attractiveness is due to the charm of the leading- lady, Lucy Fox. No one seeibg the picture will blame the hero for falling in love with her at first sight.
