FEBRUARY GRADING RETURNS. The following table shows the number of bales in the various grades at each port in the Dominion fov the month of February: — Good High Comport. Fair. Fair. Fair mon. Auckland 305 829 535 48 Foxton 494 1717 358 55 Wellington 750 2925 1079 .104 Napier 500 Blenheim 203 4 Dunedin 11 ■ —• —• —■ Bluff 39 320 31 At Picton 52'hales were submitted, all of which were graded “fine.” Two bales at Auckland and one each at Foxton and Wellington were rejected. The number of bales graded at each port was as follows: —Auckland 1719, Foxton 2025, Wellington 5459, Napier 500, Blenheim 207, Picton 52, Dunedin 11, Bluff 390. The number of bales in each grade throughout I he Dominion was as follows, the total for the corresponding month of last year being given in parentheses; —Pine 52 (nil), good fair 2,308 (921), high fair 5,795 (5,772), fair 2,003 (0,1-10), common 207 (535), rejected 4 (59); total 10,909 (13,133). The following are the particular-; of the low graded:-
Three bales were condemned ;A Auckland. The totals in each grades were as under, the corresponding month of last year being given in parentheses: —First 922 (05-1), second 1,199 (952), tim'd 70 (178), condemned 3 (8); total, 2,194 (1,792).
