ROYAL PICTURES.
“A Game of Wits,” 1 a Mutual feature starring Gail Kane, is the chief attraction at the Royal to-night. Itj is a story of May and -December, and answers the question, “should an old man marry a young wife?” The film abounds in smart society settings and snappy scenes of sparkling sea and sunny shore, “The Fighting Trail” will be shown as an extra. Although the great war is over and the Peace Treaty'is signed, we can well be reminded * of certain great outstanding features in connection with the world's tragedy. The war criminals have not yet been punished—justice lias not yet been meted out to those who were re-sponsible-arid the war will have been in vain if we forget. The Central Powers will attempt to again build an empire strong enough to wreak vengeance, to deal with tho Peace Treaty as they did with tho Belgian Treaty—as • a “scrap of paper.” Because of these things, there is a place on the screen for such a picture as “Lest We Forget.” I lie wonderful seven-reel feature presented by the Metro Corporation, with Miss Rita Jo 1 ivet, the famous operatic star, depicting the thrilling adventures' which she personally experienced. Miss Jolivefc was a passenger in the ill-fated Lusitania on that vessel’s last voyage. The terrors of that terrible ac| of outrage when the great liner was torpedoed, are vividly depicted. “What her eyes have seen yours shall see.” 'the picture will be shown to-morrow night, for one night only.
