RETAILERS’ ASSOCIATION.

A special meeting of the local Retailers’ Association was held in the Red Shield Club yesterday morning. Messrs Christie and Ricier reported re the meeting convened to discuss the holding of a picnic and sports on March 17th. - The delegates staled that a further meeting was to be held to discuss the matter. It was decided to' hold the next ordinary meeting on '.March sth, at 7.30 p.m., when various important matters will be discussed of interest to retailers.
