Well-defined remains of n Roman villa of considerable proportions have been discovered near (lie famous Romano-British camp of Ham Hill, Somerset. Recent digging has led to the discovery of well-laid foundations, a concrete Hour with numerous tesserae scattered over if, portions of tiles, . fragments of painted wall plaster and brick, giving definite evidence of a Roman villa of some size. The relic.-' found have been presented to the County Museum.
