THE REFORM PARTY.

A meeting of Government .supporters was held in The Parliamentary Buildings on Saturday afternoon. The attendance was large. The Prime Minister, who was meeting the members.of his party for the first time since the General Election, wms given a cordial reception. The-meeting- sat for. about two hours and a half. The Prime Minister stated subsequently that the members presept had engaged in a general dismission of the friendliest possible . character. Various matters of policy had been mentioned. Xew members of the House had taken' part in the proceedings, and had made a very good impression on their colleagues. The opinion had been expressed after the meeting by old members that the Reform Party had never before received such an accession of strength as had been given by the General Election of 1019. ’ . The appointment of additional Ministers was mentioned at the meeting. The Prime Minister indicated that he intended to (ill vacancies in the Cabinet. He did not give names, and the opinion, of the meeting was that he should be left to use his own judgment in the selection of Ministers. Members said that he could be trusted to do the right thing in the discharge of a duty that belonged to the the Government.
