WEDDING.

BOAG—PODMOKE. A pretty wedding of local interest took place on Wednesday last, 2Sth inst., at the Methodist Church, Avenue Road, when Amy, only daughter of Mr and Mrs C. H. Podmore, was united in holy matrimony to James Edward, eldest son of Mr and Mrs J. W. -Bong, of Ponsonby, Auckland. 1 The ceremony was performed by the Rev. A. Harding. The bride, who was -given away by her father, wore u dainty frock of white crepc-de-chcno with'a ninon overdress/ She also w'ore a prettily embroidered veil, and carried a bouquet of white dahlias and asparagus fern. , The bride was attended by Miss Boag, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Elsie Hudson,

cousin of the bride, as bridesmaids, who wore white erepe-de-chene frocks and white hats, and carried bouquets of pale pink' roses and carnations. The bridegroom was attended by his brother as best man, and by Mr E. Cowley, of Auckland, as groomsman.
