INCOME-TAX PAYABLE. Land and Income Tax Office, Wellington, 22nd January, 1920. By Order in Council, made and issued by His Excellency the Governor in Council on the 6th day of i October, 1919, under the authority of the above Act, it Avas determined that the respeetiA r e duties by. way of Income-tax and Special War-tax, leA’iable under sections 3 and 4 respectively of the said Act, should be paid in one sum on THURSDAY, the sth day of February, 1920, at the office of the Commissioner of Taxes, Government Buildings, Wellington; and, in accordance with such Order in Council, I hereby give notice that the said duties Avill be payable accordingly. Additional tax will accrue if the tax is not paid on or before 26th February, 1920. The liability to pay is suspended by any objection. The tax should be paid on or before the prescribed date, othenvise the additional percentage accrues; any overpayment will be adjusted by refund. The demands Avill bo posted from the office of the Commissioner of Taxes on or about the 29th January, 1920. NOTE.—IMPORTANT. A delay of some days Avill take place in the issue of the demands for the following:— Individuals Avbose surnames commence with the letters C, D, IT, I, J, K, Me, N, 0, P, T. W. In these cases a new due date — vi/., 20 1 it February, 1920, —Avill be fixed as provided by section 127 of the Land and Income Tax fret, 1916. Additional tax will accrue twentv-nne days thereafter. Special trains leave Palmerston North 9.30 a.m. and 10.5 a.m., Longburn 9.42 a.m. and 10.23 a.m., Himatangi 10.32 a.m., and arrive Racecourse 10.50 a.m. and 11.13 a.m. Return trains leave Fox ton 4.40 p.m.. and 5.20 p.m., Racecourse 4.55 p.m. and 5,35 p.m;, for Palmerston North. The 10.5 a.m. train will connect at Longburn with the usual G. 35 a.m. Ira in from Paekakariki, and will not stop between Long-burn and Racecourse. The 4.40 p.m. train from Foxtou will not slop after leaving Racecourse, All trains (except the 7.50 a.m. train from Foxton) will slop at Racecourse, if required. Special train for Feilding will leave Palmers lon Norlli at 0.55 p.m., connecting wilh the 4.40 p.m. and 5.20 p.m. trains from Foxtou. FRIDAY, 23rd JANUARY, 1920. Special train, stopping where required, will leave Palmerston North 9.30 a.m., Foxton ai'rive 10.53 a.m. Return train will leave Foxton 4.40 p.m,, Racecourse depart 4.55 p.m., Palmerston North arrive 0.10 p.m. All trains '(except the 7.50 a.m. train from Foxton) will stop at Racecourse if required.
