By Order in Council, made and issued by His Excellency the Governor in Council on the 6th day of i October, 1919, under the authority of the above Act, it Avas determined that the respeetiA r e duties by. way of Income-tax and Special War-tax, leA’iable under sections 3 and 4 respectively of the said Act, should be paid in one sum on THURSDAY, the sth day of February, 1920, at the office of the Commissioner of Taxes, Government Buildings, Wellington; and, in accordance with such Order in Council, I hereby give notice that the said duties Avill be payable accordingly. Additional tax will accrue if the tax is not paid on or before 26th February, 1920. The liability to pay is suspended by any objection. The tax should be paid on or before the prescribed date, othenvise the additional percentage accrues; any overpayment will be adjusted by refund. The demands Avill bo posted from the office of the Commissioner of Taxes on or about the 29th January, 1920. NOTE.—IMPORTANT. A delay of some days Avill take place in the issue of the demands for the following:— Individuals Avbose surnames commence with the letters C, D, IT, I, J, K, Me, N, 0, P, T. W.
