TOBACCO PRICES FIXED.

The Board of Trade met the merchants and retail tobacconists at Wellington yeterday, and an agreement was arrived, at between the parties that tobacco in the 2oz. or reputed 2oz. (If) tins or cartons should be sold retail at ls’6d each, and that the retail price of cigarettes should be 9d jifer packet. This will not apply to eigai’ettes of New Zealand manufacture.
