A woman named Constance Holts was arrested at Pokenn tin’s mornini'', on a charge of Inn ing murdered her child, aged, two years. Pier husband, a railway surfaceman, left home early to gel the mail, and returning found perambulator marks leading to a creek. His wife was found struggling in four or five feet of water, and the child’s body was at the bottom of the creek. It is alleged that the woman has been rather strange in her manner fulsome time.
