RIFLE SHOOTING.

On account of the very uncertain weather last Saturday afternoon, only Ox members turned up for the lasi shoot for Messrs Beveridge and King’s trophy. However, the weather cleared, and the shooting was good. Following are the scores

The Committee decided that the two best totals out id the Ihiec shoots were to count. lienee the results show that A, Barnard won the first prize, a trophy of the value of £l, C. Hand and H. Frankland lied for second place, but 'Mr Rand, having scored highest at the last shoot, won the second prize of 12s, and Air Frankland-the third of Bs. The results for the whole match (the two best scores being shown) arc as follows: —

The event for next Saturday will he decided by the Committee this week.
