Sir. —At a local chad ion which caused a good deal of teeling some lime ago, Labour members weie cajoled by a certain clique*, and their support enlisted to vole tor certain individuals. There is a more vital election coniine; on now, and as one good (urn deserves anothei, if is only fair to suppose that (he clique*, will support the Labour candidate. Of course, the ballot is sec-* ret, but from what one hears all the support that Labour will receixe from the eli<)ue tor its candidate will be nil. Labour supporters should read, mark, learn and inwardly digest for future reference.—Yours, etc., LABOUR.
