BOWLING.
The second round in the Triangular contest between the Foxton, Shannon and Levin Clubs, was commenced at Shannon yesterday afternoon, when two rinks from the Foxton Club played two Shannon rinks. Owing to a misunderstanding, the Levin club did not send two rinks, and their matches against Shannon will be played at a later date. The Foxton rinks had very easy victories, the results never being in doubt. The visitors were very hospitably entertained. The following are the teams and scores: — Foxton. Shannon. Bryant Kelly Barr Bhanjdand Woods Hennessy F. Whibley (s) 27 E. Butt (s) 11 D. Whibley H. Butt Walker Bovis Christie Gunning. Eye (s) 25 MeKegg (s) 13 Each club has now played four games, and the aggregate scores are: Foxton 89, Levin 72, Shannon G 3,
