NOVEMBER GRADING RETURNS.

The following return of the quantities of hemp and low graded during the month of November lias issued by the’ Department of Agriculture : Hemp. —The total number of hales , graded yas 31,03(1, as compared with 0,094 for the corresponding period last year, an increase of -i ,0-15 hales. For the 12 months ended 30(h November, the number of bales graded was 100,575, as compared with 154,083 for the previous 12 months, a decrease ol o4.!08 bales.

Tow. —The total number of bales graded was 2,>504, a> compared with /do for the same month last year, an increase of 1,730 hales. For the 42 months ended 30th November, 1919, the number of bales graded was 18,556, as compared with 28,157 for the .'previous J2 months, a decrease of 0,601 bales. Stripper-slips. —November, 10.10, nil; November, 1018, 140 bales. For the 12 months ended 30!h November, 12 hales were graded, as compared with 1,382 bales for (he ■previous 12 months, a decrease of 1,370 bales, The numbers of hales in the separate grades at each port were: —

Ninety-nine bales of line were graded at Pictmi, 45 at Wellington, and 10 at Paxton, Three bales wore rejected at Wellington. Tim number of bales graded at each port during the month was: —■ Auckland 1,861 Poxton 2,796, Napier 533, Wellington 4,884, Blenheim 214, Piclun 141, Dunedin 223, Bluff 384.
