On Saturday a challenging rink from Feilding: Shrimpton, Mills, Clemei^vHarford (s), succeeded in ■wresting the Munson and Barr Cup from the Palmerston holders: Welch, Simmons, H. Seifert,"Picketing (s). The final scores were: 'Feilding 22, Palmerston 19. Tlie next challengers are a rink from Terrace End skipped by Pat Cm.
On the local green to-morrow afternoon another match foj; the Nye Ferns will he played. The holders are Roore, Bryant, Christie, Mandl (s), and (he challengers Pearson, Stevenson, D. Whiblcy, McColl (s).
A pair of badges have been presented for competition among members of the local Club. The competition will he tor pairs, and will be a challenge one, the conditions providing that one of the players in each pair must, he either a first or second year player. The drawing to decide the first holders will take place at 2.30 to-morrow afternoon.
