MOTOR ACCIDENT.

TWO CARS COLLIDE. A. serious motor accident occurred on the Foxton-Sanson road on Sunday morning, resulting in several persons being rather seriously injured. One of the cars, containing a party from Wanganui, and driven by Mr Laws, was proceeding in the direction of Foxfon, and the other car, containing Mr and Mrs .Stanley Hunt, of Rongotea, and Mr Boswell, of Glen Orona, and several children, was being driven along Jones’ Line, and was going through to the Rang'd ikei Beach. The ears collided at the junction of the Foxton-Sansun road and Rosina. Line, right in the centre of the road. The Rongotea car struck the other ear on the side, near the front wheels, and the force of the impact overturned the Wanganui car, and the occupants of both cars were all thrown out. Tlio.se in the front of Mr Law’s car were thrown clean through the windscreen, and were very much cut ahuut, Mr and Mrs Hunt were seriously injured, and were unconscious for some time. A motorist who arrived on tlie scene shortly after the accident immediately went for medical aid, and the injured persons —Mr and Mrs Hunt and two young children, Florence and Hilda Laws —were removed to a private hospital in Palmerston-North, where they are now making favourable progress. j-
