SUMMER SHOW.
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY NEXT
The local Horticultural Society’s Summer Show will be held in the Town TTn 1! mi Thursday end Friday next. The formal opening will lake place ill d o'clock OH Thursday afternoon. Knlries close to-night. at !) ~’clock. late entries (ip to !) o’clock to-morrow (Wednesday). F.ntries are coming in very well, and (he exhibition this year promi-es to he verv sueces'-ful. the cooker', classes are fillinjx well, end the, school exhibits promise to be a record. It is hoped that there will be u few more entries in the cottage garden section. The local boys arc getting busy with birds’ eggs. Mrs -jr. Procter will have charge of the Tea rooms, and contributions for this depart menu are solicited. A programme of instrumental items will be submitted each evening.
