OBITUARY.
QIARLKS HUNKY WEBB— A OKU 73 YEARS.
The death took place at Jus residence, Whittaker (Street, at an early hour yesterday morning, of Mr Charles Henry Web!), aged 73 yeafs. The deceased had been in had health for some few months past, and was for a time an inmate of the Palmerston District Hospital, ami death was not unexpected. The late Mr Webb was one of Koxtou’s oldest residents, having resided here for about -15 years. He was born in Cambridge, England, in 18-10, and came to New Zealand in the ship ‘‘Star of India, ’’ landing in this country in .1873. He came on lo I'Vxton a year later, and had resided here over since. He leaves a widow, one son (Mr Jonas Weld), Palmerston North), two daughters (Mrs E. Robinson, Eoxton, ami Airs McKegney, Auckland), and 10 grandchildren, to mourn their loss. The funeral will lake place tomorrow afternoon, leaving his late residence at - o'clock for the eenielerv.
