ROYAL PICTURES.

To-night, :i(: the Koval, Maurice Ton rncur’s materpiccc, “W oman,” will bo screened. It is a startling and daring study of sox .analysis through the ages; a tribute to modern womanhood in contrast with other days. The story is, briefly: A modern man and woman quarrel, and in the reaction against his wife, the man recalls various women in history or tradition, who have in some way failed their husbands or lovers. Then follow episodes of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, the Emperor Claudius and Messalina in Ancient dome, the legend of Abelard and the ('harming Heloise, that of Cyrenc ' and the Usher lad, whom' she leaves to become a seal. Then follows an episode in the Civil War, the final scene being one of the Great War to-day, in which woman is shown as noble and heroic in her war work, and a reconciliation results. (|n Monday and Tuesday nights those who like the stories of West America, will be well catered for, when the picturisation of the great novel, “The Boss of the Lazy Y,” will be screened. The entry of ‘'The Boss of the Lazy Y” into filmdom was to be expected. The novel is too popular and exciting to be Overlooked as a medium for just such an actor as Roy Stewart. It is peculiarly suited to the talents of this bright star, and gives him opportunities he has never previously had of showing his versatility and accomplishments as a rough-rider and cowboy/ The big, brawny, breezy, Western cowboy artist gives a delightful interpretation -in the play, and proves that he is no matinee idol, but a hard worker. Triangle is to be congratulated on the production of the film, which is a winner in every respect.
