HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.
A committee meeting of the above will be bold this evening, at 7.30 o’clock. .
It has been decided to give cash prizes of one guinea and 10s for best gardens attached to cottages, instead of trophies which do not represent the cash value.
Entries close on the 25th hist, and the_ Show takes place on the 27th and 28th insts. Catalogues and entry forms may be obtained from the Secretary.
So far 186 school entries have been received for the Summer Show, and with more to follow. An exhibition of woodwork will be made by pupils of the woodwork class.
