AUTOMATIC CLOSING OF ROLLS.
Electors not yet on the roll are advised to make application immediately. for, on the night of the day on which the writs are issued, the supplementary rolls close automatically. Registered electors who anticipate being absent from their electorate on election day, can, if they so desire, secure an Absent Voter’s Permit or Seaman’s Right, as the ease may be, up to and including the day preceding the General election. Forms of application can be obtained from any Post' Office or Registrar of Electors. It is absolutely essential that the application should reach the Registrar of Electors in time to permit of him forwarding the Permit or Seaman’s Right, as the case may be, to reach the applicant on or before election day. ■'
