PAPAROA ARRIVES.

Wellington, Nov. 7,

The transport Paparoa, with 220 men of all ranks, 100 wives and 53 children, arrived at 0.45 a.m., and berthed at 10 o’clock. .The health of all on hoard was good. During the trip an outbreak of chicken pox and measles occurred, but there 'were no serious raises, Complaints were made by the men regarding the accommodation provided for the wives. They also complained that there was no ship’s surgeon on hoard.
