TYPHOID.
A SERIOUS OUTBREAK, OKhorne, Oet. 28. . A serious outbreak of typhoid is reported at Te Araroa, East Cape district. There have been 25 eases, live or Six ending fatally. Of sever! nurses sent from Auckland, three are down with fever. ■ The natives are inclined to‘shelter cases until they become too bad for treatment. The outbreak is attributed to want of proper sanitation in the. native settlement. ( Medical help is urgently needed.
