RIFLE SHOOTING.
Last Saturday the first shoot for Mr F. Robinson’s trophy was held, the shooting being at ranges of 200 yards and 800 yards. There was a good attendance of members, and (he scores were as follows :
On Monday a shoot was held at 200, 800, 500 and GOO yards, for a sweepstake of 15s, 10s and ss, \\, Symons won the first prize, .with a grand total of .128, R. Rand coming second with 120, A, Barnard and J. Rider tied for third place with 116 each. Next Saturday the second shoot for Mr E. Robinson’s trophy will be held at 500* and 600 yards.
