MANAWATU SHOW.
The forthcoming Spring Show in .connection with the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association, to he held on November oth, 6th, and 7th, gives promise" of being one of (he most successful ever held by this progressive Association. 'The stock entries have met with an excellent response, and the art and school sections show a considerable increase, a falling oil of the cooking, however, is reported. Ihe photographic exhibition should he a good displav, as the entries aie well over a hundred in excess of last yea r, Tim hunting competitions are increasing in popularity. No doubt (he handsome prize money and trophies presented by this and kindred Associations lias caused the old warriors to still remain in the held and defend their laurels against the rising usurpers. The Manawatu Kennel Club’s exhibition should be another popular feature, the entries being in the vicinity of 400. Those still desiring information should communicate with the sccret:iry. \V. T.
