GOATSRUE.
'At the monthly meeting of the ManaAvatu Sub-Provincial Executive of the Farmers’ Union, held at Levin on Saturday, the Woodville County Council wrote stating goats - rue had been proclaimed a noxious Aveed for several years, and much expense Ims been incurred in coping Avitb same; Kairanga County Council and HoroAvlienua County Council had also declared this a noxious wood. Oroua County Council asked for information, as none of the co- r nncillors know much about the Aveed. Several delegates spoke of the spread of goatsrue in the Manawalu, and the menace to the lands, especially those lands near the river, beds. Il A\as resolved to ask the MamiAvalu County Council to also declare goatsrue a noxious AVeed within its jurisdiction.
