BOOKMAKER FINED.
Christchurch, Bept. 16. John Ross pleaded guilty at the Magistrate’s Court on two charges of betting on licensed premises. The offences were committed during the Grand National week. Accused was fined £25, in default one month’s imprisonment on' each charge, the sentences to be cumulative.
