WEDDING.
TONER—PARKIN. A pretty wedding was celebrated at the Baptist Church, Yivian Street, Wellington, by the Rev. Mr Buckingham, on Wednesday, September 3rd, when Miss Flossie Parkin, second daughter of Mr and Mrs E. Parkin, of Foxton, was married to Mr Jaines Turner,.youngest son og Air and Mrs Turner, of Geraldine. The bride, who was given away by her father, was attired in a dress of white satin, vvitli the orthodox veil and orange blossom, and was attended by her sister. Miss May Parkin, as bridesmaid. Little Miss Ivy Leaver, niece of the bride, acted as /lower girl. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Mitchell as best man. Both the bridegroom and best man are returned soldiers, having seen four and a-half years’ service with .the New Zealand Forces. After the ceremony the friends of the contracting parties wore entertained at the wedding breakfast at Messrs Dustin’s rooms, Cuba Street, where the usual toasts were honoured. The esteem in which the young couple are held was evidenced by the large number of presents received. In common with their many friends we wish them long life, health and happiness,
