PROHIBITION.

A meeting of those interested in the Prohibition movement was held in the Methodist Church yesterday afternoon. Mr Parry, organiser, was present, and outlined the plan of campaign decided upon by the N.Z. Alliance and Efficiency League, Matters in connection with this electorate were discussed. It was decided to make Foxton the centre for the Manawatu electorate, and to set up a local executive with sub-com-mittees in each town throughout the electorate. The appointment of an electoral organiser was held over to a further meeting. At the conclusion of the meeting those present were entertained at afternoon tea presided over by Mrs Harding, assisted by Miss X. Ross.
